三叉神経心臓反射（trigeminocardiac reflex：TCR）は三叉神経の刺激による徐脈， 低血圧をきたす反射で脳神経外科・耳鼻咽喉科・口腔外科領域などの手術で発生し，脳神経外科領域では頭蓋底操作の直接刺激によるとされる．69歳の生来健康な男性に緊急椎骨動脈瘤塞栓術が行われた．塞栓後の血管撮影時に椎骨動脈への造影剤注入による圧刺激が誘引となって，TCRによる8秒間の心停止が生じた．造影剤急速注入により内頚動脈から分岐する眼動脈圧が上昇し，左三叉神経眼枝を刺激しTCRをきたしたと考えられた．
