Le résumé fourni par la source
Recent advances in early triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) treatment have incorporated immune checkpoint inhibitors and carboplatin, notably in the KEYNOTE-522 trial, enhancing pathological complete response (pCR) and event-free survival. However, consistent benefits in overall survival are unclear, and carboplatin regimens often cause significant hematological toxicity. Additionally, the high cost of pembrolizumab limits its use severely in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Our study evaluates the efficacy and safety of a novel dose-dense regimen ddDCEP (alternating cycles of docetaxel-cyclophosphamide and epirubicin-cisplatin every 2 weeks).
