Development of a community home-based dual-supplier cooperation care model for people with dementia based on an intelligent decision-assistance system: protocol of a 1-year randomised controlled trial in China

Zhuang Zhuang, Can-Yang Li, Weihua Li, Ya-qi Wang et autres

INTRODUCTION: Dementia imposes significant care and financial burdens on families and countries globally. While high-quality home-based care is crucial, the current supply chain of care-relying on family caregivers and community healthcare workers-remains fragmented and lacks effective integration. Furthermore, although artificial intelligence (AI) …

Characterization of cervical microbiota in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer using low-coverage whole genome sequencing

Fang Gu, Weihua Li, Xinyu Liu, Chan Dai et autres

ABSTRACT This study characterized compositional shifts in cervical microbiota across disease stages from benign conditions through cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) to cervical cancer (CC) and investigated interactions with high-risk HPV (hr-HPV) infection using species-resolution profiling to identify severity-associated biomarkers. Cervical exfoliated epithelial …

A Fluorescent Organic Cage for Tetracyclines Detection

Mengjing Li, Jianjun Liu, Ziqi Wang, Weihua Li et autres

A novel [4+4] porous organic cage (POC), TAMTB-NBC-POC, was synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Remarkably, TAMTB-NBC-POC exhibited exceptional fluorescence selectivity toward tetracyclines, facilitating their highly sensitive detection in milk samples and thereby demonstrating significant potential for food safety monitoring.

Low-coverage whole-genome sequencing for differentiating cervical cancer from cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and benign diseases

Tingting Zhang, Fang Gu, Jiqiang He, Weihua Li et autres

OBJECTIVES: This study aimed to analyze chromosomal arm-level copy number variations (CNVs) in benign diseases, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), and cervical cancer (CC) using low-coverage whole genome sequencing (LC-WGS) and evaluate the efficacy of the ultrasensitive chromosomal aneuploidy detector (UCAD) model in …

Production of high biocompatibility fluorescent polyamide fabrics using carbon dots derived from natural Malabar spinach seeds

Lihui Hou, Shuping Ge, Weihua Li, Qiulian Liu et autres

Carbon dots (C-dots) have attracted great attention due to their structurally tunable absorption/emission, biocompatibility, low-cost and facile synthetic methods. Although many types of commercial chemicals have been used as precursors to produce C-dots, it is a challenge to obtain C-dots with good …

Effects and mechanisms of heavy metal ions on microbial enzymes in anaerobic digestion

Weihua Li, Jiajia Xu, Tongzhan Xue

Microbial enzymes are the main functional enzymes responsible for the decomposition of organic matter with complex structural features and play a crucial role in anaerobic digestion. The effects of heavy metal ions on microbial enzymes varied significantly depending on the species, concentrations …
