広い範囲に多くの商業施設がある港北ニュータウンのタウンセンター地区において、週末のセンター北、センター南の2箇所の回遊性の特徴や違いを把握し、来街者の属性や来街実態を元に、どのような人の回遊性が高いのかを分析する。判別分析を行うと回遊にプラスとなる項目が「性別 女性」、「居住地 都筑区」、「年齢 10～40代」、「同伴者 子供連れ」、「交通手段 電車」、「滞在時間 121分以上」となった。若年～中年層の鉄道利用者、子供連れが回遊が高く、子供の連れやすい環境が整っていることがその理由と考えられる。
