Programmable Metastable Engineering of FeNi 3 –High‐Entropy Oxide Heterostructures for Ultrawideband Electromagnetic Absorption

Bosen Lei, Siyuan Dong, Zhonghua Wang, Jie Han et autres

ABSTRACT Electromagnetic wave absorbing (EWA) materials remain limited by steady‐state thermodynamic design, restricting the use of non‐equilibrium thermodynamic–kinetic competition to tailor intrinsic electromagnetic properties. Here, we report a carbothermal‐reduction‐driven metastable engineering strategy for programmable FeNi 3 –high‐entropy oxide (HEO) biphasic composites on …

Microenvironment Engineering in Electrochemical CO 2 Reduction: From Multiscale Reaction Fields to Coupled Operating Windows

Zhongshuang Xu, Qikui Fan, Xi Cao, Xiai Zhang et autres

ABSTRACT The electrochemical CO 2 reduction reaction (CO 2 RR) provides a promising route for converting CO 2 into fuels and chemical feedstocks, but practical implementation remains constrained by the simultaneous requirements of high selectivity, energy efficiency, carbon utilization, and stability at …

Synergistic Dynamic Phase Transformation during Wire Electro-explosion Enables High-Entropy Alloys Nanoparticles with Efficient Electromagnetic Absorption

Liwen Liang, Jian Wu, Xin Li, Huantong Shi et autres

Regulating solid-solution-type alloying and composition-structure evolution is an effective strategy for optimizing electromagnetic matching in high-entropy systems. However, precise control over composition redistribution and phase evolution remains challenging for high-entropy alloy nanoparticles (HEA NPs) synthesized under ultrafast nonequilibrium conditions. Herein, we propose …

Hierarchically Porous High‐Entropy Metal Nitrides by a Solution Combustion‐Ammonia Calcination Route for Efficient Electrosynthesis of Adipic Acid

Pengfei Liu, Deqing Tang, Huiqin Yao, Bo Xiao et autres

ABSTRACT Porous high‐entropy metal nitrides (HENs) have great potential in catalysis and electrocatalysis, but remain unexplored due to severe challenge in precise synthesis and engineering of hierarchical structures. Herein, we report, for the first time, a facile yet general route, by taking …

Amino-functionalized oxygen vacancy-rich Pd–NH 2 /WO x (C) nanocatalysts for efficient formic acid dehydrogenation

Ziyang Hong, Dan Liu, Qikui Fan, Hao Lv et autres

Oxygen vacancy-rich Pd–NH 2 /WO x (C) catalysts were synthesized via a glucose-assisted hydrothermal reaction, and they exhibited extraordinarily high catalytic activity for formic acid dehydrogenation without additives at room temperature.

Investigation on the corrosion mechanism of W/Cu surfaces and interfaces induced by SF6 under DC arc discharge

Xinwei Zhang, Huai Wang, Hong‐Yu Zhang, Shengchun Yang et autres

Cavity‐Networked Copper Nanocatalysts with Acid‐Tolerant Microenvironments for Efficient CO 2 Electroreduction to Ethylene

Zhongshuang Xu, Qikui Fan, Huanran Miao, Xinwei Zhang et autres

Abstract Gasophilic/hydrophobic microstructured Cu nanomaterials address the multi‐carbon (C 2+ ) selectivity bottleneck in electrocatalytic CO 2 reduction reaction (CO 2 RR), yet their morphological control is hindered by low reduction potentials and high surface atomic mobility. This study reports a bioinspired …

Single-atom catalysts based on one-dimensional metal porphyrin chains toward oxygen reduction reactions

Liang Chen, Haiyang Gao, Chuncai Kong, Zhimao Yang et autres

Single-atom catalysts has emerged as a groundbreaking concept in catalysis, where individual metal atoms are anchored on supports such as carbon-based materials, oxides, or nitrides, serving as isolated active sites for catalytic reactions. In the present study, we theoretically explore the geometries, …
