DSH-Migrants as messengers and changemak

Objectif officiel

Using the ecosystem of social media, including migrants' own networks, and public radio and television stations, recorded testimonies of migrants and other media programming will be used to inform migrants' communities and families of the harsh realities of the journey and the probability of robbery, exploitation, enslavement and in many cases death for those who tempt the journey. These messages, delivered by credible messengers, can and should directly impact the decisions of the 'brother' and 'sister' migrants and dispel the common belief that many potential irregular migrants have, that he or she will succeed when so many others fail or die. The goal of this project is to capture and creatively disseminate emotional testimonials to discredit that belief.
