<p>Description</p><p><strong style="color: black;"><em>Enhancing Zambia¿s NDC Implementation project (EZ-NDC) </em></strong><span style="color: black;">aims to</span> support the acceleration of the country¿s NDC implementation by mainstreaming NDC and green growth programming and enhancing MRV capacities, by supporting stronger interministerial coordination, the creation of capacities and the integration of better tools and capacities for effective Measuring, Reporting and Verification.</p><p><strong>Specific Objective:</strong></p><p>Impact statement: To advance Zambia¿s climate-resilient transition towards green growth and a decarbonized, environmentally friendly, and inclusive economy.</p><p>Outcome 1 - Improved implementation, quality and effectiveness of Zambia¿s Climate Change Agenda in line with its NDC and NDC Implementation Framework</p><p>Outcome 2 - Improved accountability and efficiency of the Zambian iMRV System at national and subnational levels</p><p><strong>Outputs:</strong></p><p>Output 1.1 - Strengthened capacity of MoGEE for coordination and mainstreaming of climate change and NDC related policies</p><p>Output 1.2 - Improved capacities for the implementation of climate change policies and the NDC, and related reforms at national and subnational levels</p><p>Output 1.3 - Increased strategic communication and awareness on NDC implementation, including opportunities for participation in climate action for civil society, academia, women and youth</p><p>Output 2.1 - Operationalized ETF-compliant national iMRV system</p><p>Output 2.2 - Enhanced capacities to collect, process and report on climate change and NDC-related national and subnational data.</p><p>Output 2.3 - Improved targeted and inclusive communication of Zambia¿s climate action and its progress</p>
