Objectif officiel

<p class="ql-align-justify">Contribution Agreement with WHO</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong style="color: black;">Overall objective:</strong><span style="color: black;"> to contribute to the population¿s health and wellbeing (SDG3) via the support to public health institutions (PHI) to strengthen the provision of the essential public health functions (EPHFs). The project will contribute to enhanced universal health coverage through foundational public health capacities anchored in the health system and allied sectors, and on a stronger evidence-based, to address the multidimensional public health challenges in Nigeria.</span></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><span style="color: black;">The specific objectives (SO) are: </span></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>SO1: </strong>Establish/enhance regional and international links and capacity between Nigeria¿s public health institutes with African and European NPHIs for public health research, knowledge sharing, and information gathering that drive evidence-based public health policy advice, public health workforce training, and advocacy.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>SO2:</strong> Enhance the capacity of PHIs and allied sectors to coordinate and deliver essential public health functions to support the HSSB pillars one on effective governance, and pillar two on an Efficient, Equitable, and Quality Public Health system.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>SO3:</strong> <span style="color: black;">To support NPHIs to become digital health literate on the sustainable use and effectiveness of digital applications and to reduce the digital skills gap among the public health workforce. </span></p><p><br></p>
