Sida Digital Partnership Week 2026

Objectif officiel

Sida Digital Partnership Week 2026 (SDPW) was a pilot contribution held in Stockholm in June 2026, implemented under "Flexibos", a new working method through which Sida offers shorter, demand-driven forms of support (expert exchanges, capacity development and limited assignments), rather than long, pre-defined programmes. The pilot focused on trusted and secure infrastructure, AI and cybersecurity. The objective was to initiate flexible partnerships strengthening participating countries' capacity in these areas, by bringing together key officials from central authorities and ministries in countries with development needs and of strategic interest to Sweden, and by showcasing the expertise and offerings of the Swedish resource base ("Team Sweden"). The contribution also aimed to create an arena for establishing contacts and identifying possible long-term strategic partnerships between Team Sweden actors and the participating countries, and to lay the groundwork for continued dialogue and future contributions. Twenty-four delegates from 16 authorities in eleven countries (Colombia, Moldova, Ukraine, Morocco, Egypt, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines) took part. The programme included a day at AI Sweden on the Swedish AI ecosystem, two days at Ericsson's Stockholm Cybersecurity Dialogue, and a concluding day at Sida's head office with bilateral meetings and dialogue with Team Sweden actors. Sida procured an event agency as implementing party for practical arrangements. The contribution did not have a traditional partner with its own results framework. Expected results were new and deepened contacts between Team Sweden and participating countries within digitalisation, AI and cybersecurity, and identified tracks for continued cooperation as a basis for possible future contributions under this working method.
