Côte d'Ivoire - Projet d’appui au renforcement de l’administration électronique (PARAE)

Objectif officiel

This project is aligned with the priorities of the PND 2021-2025, mainly pillars 3 and 6, through 1) access to high-quality, low-cost digital and postal services throughout the country (Pillar 3), and the substantial improvement in the quality and efficiency of public services expected in particular from the development and online provision of numerous administrative services (Pillar 6). It should be emphasized that it includes, at the same time, considerable positive externalities on the remaining five pillars. More generally, it is in line with the 17 SDGs due to the cross-cutting nature of digital technology. It is particularly in line with SDG 9.c, which aims to “significantly increase access to information and communication technologies and strive to provide universal and affordable access to the Internet in the least developed countries (...)”. The preliminary cost of the project, excluding taxes and duties, is estimated at 111.05 million euros, or approximately 88.84 million UC. The project contributes to climate finance, with a budget of 33 million USD of the total approved amount dedicated to mitigation.
