Rwanda-Italy Sustainable Development project_Phase III

Objectif officiel

Through this project, the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) has committed to supporting the implementation of the MoU between the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Rwanda (MoE) and The Ministry of Environment and Energy Security of the Italian Republic (IMEES). GGGI support will include designing and elaborating project proposals; providing technical support in the rehabilitation of additional 5 urban wetlands (491ha); developing the Voluntary Rwanda Green Building Certification System and tailored capacity building; providing technical support and quality assurance to the development of climate proofed rural settlements (Imidugudu) models and enhancing capacities of professionals and providing capacity building to implement Rwanda carbon market framework.
