Contract related to: Increased capacity and capabilities of the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NG 3.01/22) - (1)          Component B ¿ ASEAN ¿ Enhancing and strengthening the response to a radiological or nuclear emergency. Expected enhanced national capabilities in using DSS to reliably inform decision makers on how best to prepare for, and respond to, any future radiological or nuclear emergency that may affect the ASEAN region. Greater coherence within ASEAN of preparedness for, and response to, any future radiological or nuclear emergency that may affect the region. NDK. Better alignment of radioprotection regulation and inspection of advanced industrial medical applications of radiation with and international best practice.(2)          Component C ¿ Nigeria - Increasing robustness of the Nuclear Regulatory Authority. Expected increased robustness of the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NNRA): Improved NNRA integrated management system, and human resources management. Improved regulatory framework for the operation of the research reactor and for its decommissioning. Improved regulatory framework for the life-time management of nuclear installation.(3)          Component D ¿ Turkey - Further strengthening the nuclear safety and radioprotection regulator. Expected strengthened regulatory effectiveness of the Turkish nuclear safety regulator NDK. Strengthened capacities of NDK and/or AFAD in emergency preparedness and response. Better alignment of radioprotection regulation and inspection of advanced industrial medical applications of radiation with EU Acquis and international best practice. (4)          Component E - Ukraine - Restoring nuclear safety infrastructure Expected nuclear safety infrastructure restored, and regulatory control restored.
