Objectif officiel

The Chems Technical Assistance project is designed to increase investment in decentralized renewable energy projects for businesses in Tunisia and seize the opportunity to expand the DRE market. The Chems project is part of the Tunisia Solar Plan, promoting decentralized renewable energy (DRE) under the self-consumption mechanism. The expected outcomes are: i) Equip local FIs with ability to make more and better investment decisions in DRE, ii) Support businesses to make better DRE investment decisions and iii) Improved capacity of ANME to promote and create an enabling environment for DRE and to share sector knowledge with African countries. The Project comprises three main components: (i) Capacity building in DRE (ii) Digital platform to support businesses to evaluate DRE investments and related finance solutions and (iii) Support the ANME Project Implementation Unit in the implementation of the project and audit.
