From Leadership to School Performance: The Mediating Role of Teacher Integrity in Servant Leadership

School performance remains a key issue in education due to the low quality of learning and institutional effectiveness in many schools. Previous studies on school performance have produced inconsistent findings, particularly in explaining how leadership influences institutional outcomes. This study investigates school performance through the influence of servant leadership and teacher integrity as mediating mechanisms. Using a quantitative approach, data from 232 teachers in Solo Raya were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results indicate that servant leadership positively influences teacher integrity (β = 0.630; p < 0.001) and school performance (β = 0.191; p< 0.001). Teacher integrity also significantly mediates the relationship between servant leadership and school performance (β = 0.462; p< 0.001). These findings suggest that school performance is shaped not only by principal leadership but also by the internalization of leadership values into teachers' professional behavior. Therefore, strengthening teacher integrity is crucial for sustainable school improvement.
