This research aims to explore diagnostic delays in early onset colorectal cancer in England through semi structured interviews exploring general practitioners’ knowledge, perceptions and diagnostic decision making. The overarching goal is to generate evidence that can guide educational programmes for clinicians and a targeted awareness campaign for the general population, to improve timely recognition and referral.
