Abstract Electromagnetic stealth technology is a cutting-edge scientific research field. It requires high-precision radar cross-section (RCS) measurements. With the rapid development of information equipment, the requirements for measurement accuracy for stealth equipment are becoming increasingly demanding. In this work, a novel extrapolation method for measuring the K-band RCS is presented for measuring two calibration targets: dihedral corner reflector and rectangular solid. Then, the measured results are compared with simulations based on the method of moments. The comparison shows good consistency. For dihedral’s RCS, the mean absolute error (MAE) is 0.58 dB, and the root mean square error (RMSE) is 0.7 dB. For rectangular’s RCS, the MAE is 0.40 dB, and the RMSE is 0.51 dB.
