Full-Waveform Inversion (FWI) has emerged as a powerful tool for improving seismic imaging by utilizing the full wavefield information, including both transmitted and reflected waves. In a shallow water oil field of China, the complex high structural configurations with the complex fault system and rapid lateral velocity variations have posed significant challenges to accurate imaging despite multiple rounds of velocity model building. This paper presents a high-resolution velocity model building technique that integrates the tomographic inversion, acoustic FWI (AFWI), and elastic FWI (EFWI) using multi-component ocean bottom node (OBN) data. The proposed workflow significantly improves the accuracy of the velocity model, enhances seismic imaging quality and provides vital support for refined reservoir characterization and hydrocarbon prediction.
