ABSTRACT With the rapid advancement of digital inkjet printing technology, considerable attention has been directed toward the formulation design of inks. In this research, a comprehensive investigation was conducted into the physicochemical properties of reactive dye inks formulated with C.I. Reactive Blue 194. An orthogonal experimental design approach was utilized to optimize the proportions of the various solvents, resulting in the preparation of a reactive dye ink exhibiting exceptional performance. The ink possessed outstanding thermal stability, freeze–thaw stability, and robust centrifugal stability. Additionally, the ink's drying performance was verified; after 185 h of drying, the weight retention rate was 48%, while maintaining good wetting ability. Fabrics printed with this ink demonstrated high‐quality results following steaming at 100°C and 100% relative humidity for 10 min. The rubbing and soaping fastness ratings of the printed fabrics were both in the range of grade 4–5, demonstrating excellent color fastness. Moreover, the variation rates of printed line width in the warp and weft directions were 12.05% and 18.79%, respectively, indicating clear pattern definition on cotton fabrics. This study offers strong support for the technological progression and industrial deployment of digital inkjet printing for high‐quality textile printing.
