Conclusions: Despite the finding that nodal TFH lymphomas develop on a background of CH, the cumulative incidence of subsequent MN is relatively low. This finding may be due to a high competing risk of death from lymphoma, use of allogeneic transplant in the relapsed setting (which could eliminate CH clones), and lack of high-risk CH mutations seen in these patients. No patient-or treatment-related factors were significantly associated with developing a MN, though the overall incidence of events was low, likely limiting our ability to detecting significant differences.Increasing etoposide use, in particular cumulative doses over 3000 mg, had the highest risk though was non-significant.Characterizing the exact genomic events and clonal dynamics that lead to this phenomenon could identify patients at greater risk for developing a MN.
