Metabolic‐Immune Suppression Mediated by the SIRT1‐CX3CL1 Axis Induces Functional Enhancement of Regulatory T Cells in Colorectal Carcinoma (Adv. Sci. 17/2025)
Le résumé fourni par la source
Colorectal Carcinoma This study reveals that SIRT1, a metabolic regulator in colorectal cancer (CRC), enhances immunosuppression by upregulating CX3CL1 to drive TCF7+ regulatory T cell (TCF7+Treg) differentiation into potent TNFRSF9+ subsets. The cover art depicts T cells as robotic sentinels battling CRC cells, where SIRT1-driven CX3CL1 forms defensive barriers, countered by combination therapies targeting CX3CR1 and PD-1. More details can be found in article number 2404734 by Houjie Liang, Jianjun Li, Zhihao Wei, Yan Dong, and co-workers.
