Nutraceutical Herbs As Immuno-Inflammatory Agents
Le résumé fourni par la source
Immuno-inflammatory agents have the ability to transform the immune system by improving immune defences to boost reaction of body against several infectious or exogenous injuries, or suppressing the abnormal immune response caused any immune disorders. Currently, nutraceuticals products, which have positive control and prevent the influencing risk factors associated with immuno-inflammation, are being recognized through various studies. The use of medicinal plants, as referred in traditional medicine, is a possible alternative method to prevent onsets of immuno-inflammation. In the recent past, many researches on bioactive plants demonstrated their significance as nutraceutical food for the prevention of immuno-inflammation and has been customized. Several studies pertaining in-vitro and/or 164 in-vivo activity of medicinal plants has explored their possibilities to prevent immuno-inflammation through various pharmacological screening models. Therefore, in this chapter, the authors tried to customize some of the selected recent plant-based nutraceutical research findings which would be useful against immuno-inflammation. In this context, databases were obtained from online search engine from various sources and were consulted; and relevant studies were selected to summarize this chapter. Further, patents, involving technologies related to treatment and prevention of immuno-inflammation, were reviewed and presented in this chapter.
