Le résumé fourni par la source
Interestingly, this study found that Gold-Aluminum (Au-Al) IMCS grew much faster at the presence of higher content of chlorin (Cl). To the best of the author’s knowledge, there is no study reported on the faster Au-Al IMC growth under Cl environment. It is found that the Cl is a major factor contributing to the IMCs growth. It is suggested that Cl lowered down the activation energy of atom solid-diffusion, and accelerated the Au-Al atom inter-diffusion. As a result, the IMC growth is faster under environment higher content of Cl.
