The project was to present the risks and demonstrate the feeling of impunity about virtual crimes, to point out the need for regularization and severity in the treatment of crimes in the online environment, taking into account the vast evolution of the number of users on the Internet.Also, to present the risk of the spread of fake news on social media and how they can be responsible for manipulating the lay users on the internet.As well as pointing out the main discussions about the criminalization of fake news, pointing out the arguments that claim that this would conflict with the principle of freedom of expression.And, finally, to bring possible solutions to this problem, using the bibliographic research method to summarize the ideas of the main legal scholars and legislation on the subject under discussion.
