We report the observation of the $X(3823)$ state in the process ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}X(3823)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\gamma}{\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c1}$ with a statistical significance of $6.2\ensuremath{\sigma}$, in data samples at center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}=4.230$, 4.260, 4.360, 4.420, and 4.600 GeV collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII electron positron collider. …

We present the first upper-limit measurement of the branching fractions of the isospin-violating transitions ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c0,2}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}{\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}$. The measurements are performed using $106\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}1{0}^{6}$ $\ensuremath{\psi}(3686)$ events accumulated with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider at a center-of-mass energy corresponding to the $\ensuremath{\psi}(3686)$ mass. …

Using $1.06\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}1{0}^{8}$ $\ensuremath{\psi}(3686)$ events recorded in ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=3.686\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}$ with the BESIII at the BEPCII collider, we present searches for $C$-parity violation in $J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ and $\ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\phi}$ decays via $\ensuremath{\psi}(3686)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}J/\ensuremath{\psi}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$. No significant signals are observed in either channel. Upper limits on …

Using $2.25\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}1{0}^{8}J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ events collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage rings, we observe for the first time the process $J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}p\overline{p}{a}_{0}(980)$, ${a}_{0}(980)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}\ensuremath{\eta}$ with a significance of $6.5\ensuremath{\sigma}$ ($3.2\ensuremath{\sigma}$ including systematic uncertainties). The product branching fraction of $J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}p\overline{p}{a}_{0}(980)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}p\overline{p}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}\ensuremath{\eta}$ is measured to be …

The process ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}p\overline{p}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$ has been studied by analyzing data collected at $\sqrt{s}=3.773\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}$, at $\sqrt{s}=3.650\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}$, and during a $\ensuremath{\psi}(3770)$ line shape scan with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The Born cross section of $p\overline{p}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$ in the vicinity …

An energy scan near the $\ensuremath{\tau}$ pair production threshold has been performed using the BESIII detector. About $24\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{pb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ of data, distributed over four scan points, were collected. This analysis is based on $\ensuremath{\tau}$ pair decays to $ee$, $e\ensuremath{\mu}$, $eh$, $\ensuremath{\mu}\ensuremath{\mu}$, …

By using a $2.92\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ data sample taken at $\sqrt{s}=3.773\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}$ with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, we search for the radiative transitions $\ensuremath{\psi}(3770)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}{\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}$ and $\ensuremath{\gamma}{\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}(2S)$ through the hadronic decays ${\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}({\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}(2S))\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}_{S}^{0}{K}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{\mp}}$. No significant excess of signal events …

A $2.25\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{8}$ $J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ event sample accumulated with the BESIII detector is used to study the doubly Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka-suppressed decay modes $J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\omega}\ensuremath{\phi}$, $\ensuremath{\omega}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$, $\ensuremath{\phi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}$. A strong deviation ($>30\ensuremath{\sigma}$) from three-body $J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\omega}\ensuremath{\phi}$ phase space is observed near the $\ensuremath{\omega}\ensuremath{\phi}$ mass threshold that is consistent with …
