Review on peak detect and hold circuits and their applicability in partial discharge detection

Martin Fritsch, C. Borque Andrés, Martin Wolter

Abstract This article reviews various designs of electrical peak detect and hold circuits and tests their applicability for the detection of partial discharge pulses. Since partial discharges are very short pulses in the nanosecond range, the peak detector circuit must be very …

Search for $B$ Mesogenesis at BABAR

BABAR Collaboration, J. P. Lees, Vincent Poireau, V. Tisserand et autres

A new mechanism has been proposed to simultaneously explain the presence of dark matter and the matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe. This scenario predicts exotic $B$ meson decays into a baryon and a dark sector anti-baryon ($ψ_D$) with branching fractions accessible at …

Understanding the Selection Mechanism of the Polymer Wrapping Technique toward Semiconducting Carbon Nanotubes

Jorge Mario Salazar‐Rios, Wytse Talsma, Vladimir Derenskyi, Widianta Gomulya et autres

Abstract Noncovalent functionalization of single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) using π‐conjugated polymers has become one of the most effective techniques to select semiconducting SWNTs (s‐SWNTs). Several conjugated polymers are used, but their ability to sort metallic and semiconducting species, as well as the …

Observation of the helicity-selection-rule suppressed decay of the $χ_{c2}$ charmonium state

Mikhail N. Achasov, S. Ahmed, X. Ai, O. Albayrak et autres

The decays of $χ_{c2}\to K^{+}K^{-}π^{0}$, $K_{S} K^{\pm}π^{\mp}$ and $π^{+}π^{-}π^{0}$ are studied with the $ψ(3686)$ data samples collected with the Beijing Spectrometer (BESIII). For the first time, the branching fractions of $χ_{c2}\to K^{\ast}\overline{K}$, $χ_{c2}\to a_{2}^{\pm}(1320)π^{\mp}/a_{2}^{0}(1320)π^{0}$ and $χ_{c2}\to ρ(770)^{\pm}π^{\mp}$ are measured. Here $K^{\ast}\overline{K}$ denotes …

Anomalous Carrier Transport in Ambipolar Field‐Effect Transistor of Large Diameter Single‐Walled Carbon Nanotube Network

Satria Zulkarnaen Bisri, Vladimir Derenskyi, Widianta Gomulya, Jorge Mario Salazar‐Rios et autres

A demonstration of ambipolar transistors of polymer-wrapped single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) provides an opportunity to scrutinize transport mechanism of electrons and holes in this system. Anomalous temperature-dependent nonlinear transport behavior is observed in large diameter SWNTs. This suggests an interplay between the …

High sensitivity sensing of nitroaromatic explosive vapors based on polytriphenylamines with AIE‐active tetraphenylethylene side groups

Wenyue Dong, Yuyu Pan, Martin Fritsch, Ullrich Scherf

ABSTRACT Two polytriphenylamines (PTPAs) (P1 and P2) with aggregation induced emission (AIE)‐active tetraphenylethylene side groups have been designed and successfully synthesized. Both polymers only faintly emit in dilute solution but show strong emission in aggregated state, meaning that they are AIE‐active. The …

Carbon Nanotube Network Ambipolar Field‐Effect Transistors with 108 On/Off Ratio

Vladimir Derenskyi, Widianta Gomulya, Jorge Mario Salazar Rios, Martin Fritsch et autres

Polymer wrapping is a highly effective method of selecting semiconducting carbon nanotubes and dispersing them in solution. Semi-aligned semiconducting carbon nanotube networks are obtained by blade coating, an effective and scalable process. The field-effect transistor (FET) performance can be tuned by the …

Conjugated Polymer-Assisted Dispersion of Single-Wall Carbon Nanotubes: The Power of Polymer Wrapping

Suman Kalyan Samanta, Martin Fritsch, Ullrich Scherf, Widianta Gomulya et autres

The future application of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) in electronic (nano)devices is closely coupled to the availability of pure, semiconducting SWNTs and preferably, their defined positioning on suited substrates. Commercial carbon nanotube raw mixtures contain metallic as well as semiconducting tubes of …
