Gigahertz Manipulation of Magnetic Skyrmions by Microwave Fields

X. D. Wang, Haiming Dong, Kai Chang

Abstract We theoretically investigate the inertial dynamics of magnetic skyrmions driven by the microwave-induced inverse Faraday effect (MIFE) of circularly polarized microwaves (CPM). By incorporating an inertial mass and MIFE force, we demonstrate fundamentally distinct dynamical regimes under continuous-wave (CW) versus pulsed …

Ultrafast manipulation of magnetic skyrmions by microwave fields

X. D. Wang, Haiming Dong, Kai Chang

We theoretically investigate the inertial dynamics of magnetic skyrmions driven by circularly polarized microwave-induced inverse Faraday effect (MIFE). By incorporating an inertial mass term into the Thiele equation and analytically deriving the microwave-induced magnetic fields and forces, we demonstrate fundamentally distinct dynamical …

Measurements of hc(P11) in ψ′ Decays

M. N. Achasov, L. An, Q. An, Zhenghua An et autres

We present measurements of the charmonium state ${h}_{c}(^{1}P_{1})$ made with $106\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$ ${\ensuremath{\psi}}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ events collected by BESIII at BEPCII. Clear signals are observed for ${\ensuremath{\psi}}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}{h}_{c}$ with and without the subsequent radiative decay ${h}_{c}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}{\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}$. First measurements of the absolute branching ratios $\mathcal{B}({\ensuremath{\psi}}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}{h}_{c})=(8.4\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1.3\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1.0)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$ and $\mathcal{B}({h}_{c}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}{\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c})=(54.3\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}6.7\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}5.2)%$ …

Branching fraction measurements of χc0 and χc2 to π0π0 and ηη

M. N. Achasov, L. An, Q. An, Zhenghua An et autres

Using a sample of $1.06\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{8}$ ${\ensuremath{\psi}}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ decays collected by the BESIII detector, ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c0}$ and ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c2}$ decays into ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$ and $\ensuremath{\eta}\ensuremath{\eta}$ are studied. The branching fraction results are $\mathrm{Br}({\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0})=(3.23\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.03\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.23\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.14)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}3}$, $\mathrm{Br}({\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c2}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0})=(8.8\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.2\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.6\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.4)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$, $\mathrm{Br}({\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\eta}\ensuremath{\eta})=(3.44\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.10\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.24\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.2)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}3}$, and $\mathrm{Br}({\ensuremath{\chi}}_{c2}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\eta}\ensuremath{\eta})=(6.5\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.4\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.5\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.3)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic due to this measurement, …
