Exploring Mindfulness Meditation Practices More Feasible for Individuals with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Tendencies.

「特定の方法で意図的に,今この瞬間に,非評価的に注意を向けること」と定義されるマインドフルネス(MF)は,注意欠如・多動症(ADHD)の症状軽減や実行機能の改善に奏功することがわかっている。その一方で,MFは注意を集中させたり,じっとしている状態で行ったりと,不注意や多動・衝動性の特性がある者にとって行いにくい可能性のある要素を含んでいる。そこで,ADHD傾向の高い者にとっても行いやすいMF実践のあり方を,静的・動的な身体姿勢に着目して,一連の研究により検討した。まず,MF実践の易実施性を測定する尺度を作成した。次に,背筋を伸ばした椅坐位,仰臥位,正座が易実施性を高めるという仮説のもと,姿勢間でボディスキャンと静座瞑想の易実施性や効果に違いがあるかを,ADHD傾向を加味して検討した。その結果,ボディスキャンについては仮説通りであったが,静座瞑想では仮説と異なる結果となった。さらに,ヨーガ瞑想とマインドフル・ラジオ体操の易実施性と効果を比較したところ,多動・衝動性が高い者はマインドフル・ラジオ体操のほうが一部行いやすさを感じやすかった。以上より,ADHD傾向の高い者にとって行いやすい各MF実践について若干の提言を行った。
