#544 Effect of serum albumin levels at the time of peritoneal dialysis initiation on technique survival period and outcome

Hiroki Uchida, Akiko Kudo, Takeshi Nakata, Akihiro Fukuda et autres

Abstract Background and Aims There are some factors for peritoneal dialysis (PD) failure include patient-related factors such as age, peritonitis occurrence, and residual renal function, as well as treatment-related factors like dialysis prescription and modality. Hypoalbuminemia during PD treatment is also reported …

Ruthenium-Catalyzed Cyclopropanation of Norbornene with Propargyl Alcohol

Yuji Matsushima, Hidetoshi Kikuchi, Mitsunari Uno, Shigetoshi Takahashi

Abstract Norbornene as well as its 5,6-disubstituted derivatives and oxa-norbornene undergoes a novel cyclopropanation with propargyl alcohol in methanol containig cationic (η5-cyclopentadienyl)tris(acetonitrile)ruthenium complexes as catalysts to give exo-3-acetyltricyclooctane derivatives. Cyclopentadienylruthenium catalysts having an electron-withdrawing substituent on the Cp ligand exhibited the highest …

Synthesis and Property of Planar-chiral Cyclopentadienyl-ruthenium Complexes

Nobuko Komatsuzaki, Mitsunari Uno, Hidetoshi Kikuchi, Shigetoshi Takahashi

Abstract The first enantiomerically pure planar-chiral cyclopentadienyl-ruthenium complexes, [CpnRu(benzene)]PF6, were synthesized (CpnH; unsymmetricaly trisubstituted cyclopentadiene), and by a photo reaction with CH3CN converted to [CpnRu(CH3CN)3]PF6, which was transformed into planar-chiral [CpnRu(arene)]PF6 by a ligand exchange reaction.
