Appraisal of Danish Ethiopian Energy Partnership

Objectif officiel

The overall purpose of the appraisal is to provide an independent assessment and quality assurance of the design and documentation of the envisaged Danish support to the Enhanced Danish-Ethiopian Energy Partnership in accordance with existing Danish Aid Management Guidelines. This includes an assessment of how well the support is aligned with Danish priorities and complements existing relevant bilateral and multilateral engagements on related energy matters in Ethiopia. This includes the review of relevant policy documents and partner documents from the current Accelerating Wind Power Generation in Ethiopia Programme and the Strategic Sector Cooperation on Energy Planning and Modelling including Mid-term review of AWPGE, the MTR for DEPP II from May 2019 and other reports (e.g. the MFA’s appraisal report of the DEA Energy Partnership Programme from April 2016).
