Objectif officiel

<p>The <strong>expected outcome</strong> of the project is to contribute to achieve more sustainable and resilient growth and quality job creation of Tanzania through the sustainable development of Ocean-based economic sectors (in Zanzibar and mainland Tanzania), based on supporting climate mitigation and resilience and preserving biodiversity .</p><p>The <strong>expected outputs</strong> of the project would be (among others):</p><p>a. &nbsp;The coastal and marine resources are sustainably science-based managed for equitable growth;</p><p>b.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The coastal communities¿ livelihoods and adaptive capacity are improved and the ocean-based sector is equipped with resilient infrastructures and guided by sustainable practices</p><p>c.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The governance and efficiency of marine and coastal protected areas (and OECMs) as crosscutting management tools are improved.</p>
