Objectif officiel

<p><strong>Mapindu Amangwana: Greener Futures in the Zambezi Valley</strong> supports greener, climate-resilient and market-linked agriculture in Mbire, Hurungwe, Nyaminyami and Binga. Led by DanChurchAid (DCA) with SAT, ORAP, TFoHF and FACHIG, the Action strengthens 12,600 smallholder farmers through Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA), drought-tolerant seeds, irrigation, and soil/water conservation. It boosts market access via agroprocessing centres, Village Business Units and strong value-chain partnerships (sesame, chia, small grains, chilli, quinoa). Renewable energy integration¿solar-powered processing, cold chain and green transport¿reduces costs and post-harvest losses. Women and youth are prioritised through financial literacy, entrepreneurship support and inclusive governance. The Action aims to increase climate resilience, expand sustainable value chains and promote greener rural economies in the Zambezi Valley.</p><p>The <strong>outcomes </strong>of this grant are:</p><ol><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span><strong>Outcome 1: Enhanced resilience of smallholder farmers to adapt to climate shocks.</strong></li><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span><strong>Outcome 2: Improved livelihoods and market access for smallholder farmers through inclusive and sustainable agribusiness hubs and market-linked value chains.</strong></li><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span><strong>Outcome 3: Agricultural production processes ¿greened¿ through the integration of renewable energy technologies and upgraded infrastructure supporting climate-resilient value chains.</strong></li></ol><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p>
