Objectif officiel

<p>The Overall Objective (Impact) of this project is to promote sustainable and social development in Uganda, in particular in peri-urban and rural areas.</p><p>The specific objectives (Outcome) of this project is to increase the number of people and businesses using sustainable, clean and affordable energy services in the country, in particular in peri-urban and rural areas, with an attention on the reduction of gender inequalities.</p><p>Main Outputs to be delivered by the project to contribute to these Specific Objectives are the construction (extension, densification & rehabilitation) of distribution lines (main grid and minigrids) and connections.</p><p>The capacity of the ministry to carry electricity access projects will also be enhanced through capacity building.</p>

100 % du projet relève des secteurs de l’énergie, selon la ventilation déclarée par le bailleur. L’énergie en est l’objet principal.

• Transport et distribution d’électricité (petits réseaux isolés) 15 %
