Objectif officiel

For important strategic partners in the Netherlands, this mission offers an excellent opportunity to further develop their business relationships with key partners in South Africa. This specific activity will further strengthen the strategic position of the Netherlands with South African government agencies and establish the Netherlands as a valuable partner.The mission also aligns with the broader involvement of the Netherlands in the Just Energy Transition in South Africa, in which coal energy in particular must be gradually phased out and replaced by cleaner alternatives, including green hydrogen.The mission addresses this. Central to this mission is the Green Hydrogen Summit in Cape Town (15-16 September). At the Summit, contacts can be established or strengthened, opportunities for the Dutch business community discovered, and ties strengthened with key stakeholders in the industry and the South African government. The mission is therefore primarily organised to further position the Dutch business community active in the sector.The goal of the mission is:(1) To further position the Dutch business community in the green hydrogen sector in South Africa;(2) To strengthen contacts within the sector, both with the South African government and private parties.
