A solar centre for Windhoek

Objectif officiel

As part of the city partnership between Berlin and Windhoek, a solar centre will be built in Windhoek to inform the local population about the benefits and potential of solar energy. The concept for the advisory and information services will be developed with the participation of the citizens of Windhoek, so that the services offered are tailored to the interests and needs of the residents. The Berlin Solar Centre supports the development and construction phase through training and advice, while the State Office for Development Cooperation promotes dialogue, exchange and networking in Berlin. Expert discussions and conferences on the use of solar energy and climate justice strengthen the exchange between the partner cities, promote dialogue and strengthen cooperation.
