Objectif officiel

This intervention concerns the study of the Project for the Strengthening and Interconnection of Electric Power Transmission Networks in Madagascar (PRIRTEM). This study will prepare the major construction project for the Tamatave - Antananarivo transmission line associated with the reinforcement of the Antananarivo distribution network. It will have to be executed over a period of 8 months. The PRIRTEM consists of six components, namely: (i) an interconnection line connecting the Antananarivo Interconnected Network (RIA) and the Toamasina Interconnect Network (RIT), including the four (4) associated substations; ii) four (4) new substations within the Antananarivo Interconnected Network (RIA); (iii) a transmission line discharging energy from the Mahitsy hydroelectric generating station; iv) an interconnection line linking the Interconnected Network of Antananarivo (RIA) and that of Fianarantsoa (RIT) with the four (4) associated substations; v) an interconnection line connecting the Fianarantsoa Interconnected Network (RIT) and the independent networks of Manakara and Mananjary with the associated substations; vi) the electrification of the localities crossed by the interconnection lines.
