Objectif officiel

The objective is to meet the electricity and water supply needs of the country in an economically and environmentally sustainable manner in order to contribute to economic growth and well-being of the population of Guinea-Bissau. The main objective of the project is to meet the electricity and water supply needs of the country in an economically and environmentally sustainable manner in order to contribute to economic growth and well-being of the population of Guinea Bissau. That objective will be pursued through: (i) reforming the energy and water sectors, (ii) improving the institutional, management and governance capacity, (iii) restoring the access, reliability and quality of electricity and water supply and (iv) restoring the operational and financial capacities of the electricity and water utility including by the participation of Private Sector.
