Le résumé fourni par la source

This dataset is associated with the FSRI Study on the fire safety of E-mobility devices on passenger rail cars. More information can be found at FSRI.org. The full project report can be found here.Nathaniel G. Sauer: Conceptualization, methodology, software, investigation, data collection, data curation, writing, original draft preparation. Video and photographs are also provided.Experimental Setup Experiments were conducted in a single-level intercity commuter railcar. The overall dimensions of the railcar were 26.0 m (85 ft-4 in) in length, 3.2 m (10 ft-6 in) wide, and 3.9 m (12 ft-8 in) high. E-scooter or E-bike locations were chosen to be plausible locations used by passengers and can be seen in the accompanying experimental schematic.Instrumentation Data were recorded using a National Instruments cDAQ data acquisition system using a PXIe-1088 Chassis, PXIe-8861 Controller, PXIe-4353 Temperature Module, and PXIe-4308 Voltage Module. Samples were collected at a rate of 1 Hz. Video and gas concentration measurements were synchronized to the data acquisition system.Temperature. Temperatures were measured using bare-bead, 1.25 mm (0.05 in), Chromel-Alumel (Type K) thermocouples with an estimated total expanded uncertainty of ±15%.Heat Flux. Heat flux measurements were obtained using four water-cooled Schmidt-Boelter total heat flux gauges with a typical uncertainty of ±8%.Gas Concentrations. Six gas concentration sampling ports were located at three locations in the aisle of the railcar, at 0.91 m (3 ft) and 1.51 m (5 ft) heights, and were analyzed via a paramagnetic alternating-pressure oxygen analyzer and a non-dispersive infrared combination carbon dioxide/carbon monoxide analyzer. The relative expanded uncertainty of the gas sensors was ±1%. An estimated uncertainty of ±12% was applied to the gas concentration measurements to account for non-uniformities in the sampling environment.Video and Still Images. Video footage was recorded at 4K resolution with cameras at 1.5 m (5 ft) height and at floor level. Still images were captured before and after experiments, as well as during notable events.Test SummaryTable 1: Test Summary Code EMV Location of EMV ------------------------------------------------------------ Exp 1 Folding scooter Overhead luggage compartment Exp 2 E-Bike Luggage rack near rest room Exp 3 Seated Scooter Wheelchair parking area Exp 4 Seated Scooter Wheelchair parking area Repository StructureThis repository contains several subdirectories and file types. The following files are located in the root directory of the repository and contain information pertinent to the entire dataset.Root Filesreadme.md / readme.pdf — Contains information about the data in the repository and experiments.schematic.pdf — Drawing showing battery device locations and sensor locations inside the railcar during experiments.channel_list.csv — Comma-separated values (CSV) descriptive list of all data channels during experiments. Describes the channel name, type, measurement unit, location, and height of each data stream available in the data files.Experiment DirectoriesThe dataset is organized into one ZIP archive for each experiment. Each archive is named according to its corresponding experiment (e.g., Experiment_1.zip) and extracts to the directory structure shown below. An additional file, Stream_x.mp4, provides a synchronized compilation of selected camera views with audio.
