Public perception of climate change and the effectiveness of risk communication strategies play a critical role in shaping societal responses to environmental threats. This study examines how different demographic groups perceive climate risks and evaluates the impact of various communication approaches on public understanding and behavioral intent. Drawing on survey data and case studies from multiple regions, the research identifies key barriers to effective risk communication, including scientific uncertainty, political polarization, psychological distancing, and media framing effects. The findings reveal significant disparities in climate risk perception across socioeconomic and geographic lines, with implications for policy design and public engagement. The study further assesses the relative effectiveness of narrative-based messaging, visual data representation, and community-based communication channels in fostering climate literacy and encouraging adaptive behaviors. Recommendations are offered for policymakers, scientists, and communicators seeking to bridge the gap between climate science and public understanding, emphasizing the need for trust-building, culturally tailored messaging, and sustained engagement to strengthen societal resilience in the face of accelerating climate impacts.
