Le résumé fourni par la source
This repository documents the datasets and code used for the study "Viability of mixed-phase cloud thinning with prognostic mineral dust in CESM2". It contains everything needed to reproduce the paper's figures from already-processed daily data, and raw monthly CESM2 model output. It is organized into three folders: - Scripts: the Python postprocessing and plotting scripts, one subfolder per figure. Each figure is produced in two steps: data.py/data_*.py script (run via an accompanying bash script) that reads the raw model output and writes small processed arrays, and a plt.py script that reads those arrays and produces the figure. - Data: the datasets themselves: raw monthly-resolution model output, and processed arrays. See Data/README.md for details on what each subfolder contains. - Model_setup: the CESM2 source-code patches, namelist and emission-file setup needed to configure and rerun the underlying CESM2 seeding experiments from scratch. The experiments are named by injection altitude (Low/Mid/High, or Comb for simultaneous injection at all three) and seeding rate (1Tg/10Tg/100Tg/1000Tg in the file/folder names, per mass injected per season), plus a CTRL run, for 17 experiments total. What to download This deposit is split into 6 zips: - scripts_data.zip: Scripts/, Model_setup/, the pre-computed daily-resolution figure inputs (Data/daily_processed/). - monthly_Low.zip, monthly_Mid.zip, monthly_High.zip, monthly_Comb.zip: the raw monthly model output for that injection altitude's 4 seeding-rate experiments. - monthly_core.zip: the CTRL simulation and grid_parameters.nc.
