Clicks survive a dropped connection; production bundle; reload when the server cannot resume (supersedes v2.2.10.6) Changes Reload when the server cannot resume the session. Re-establishing a fresh server session under the client's existing model resolved every later term against the wrong type list (Term Info showed the wrong region after a reconnect that could not resume) and left the server unable to run queries or load meshes for anything already in the scene. VFB now reloads from the URL in that case; a resume on the same container is still silent. (#1762) A term requested twice while loading now always gets its mesh. v2.2.10.5 judged a term loaded as soon as its variable was in the model, before its instance and geometry existed, so a second request during load skipped the mesh (Term Info populated, empty 3D viewer). (#1760) A click made while the connection is down is no longer lost. The client (geppetto-client VFBv2.4.0.4) holds every command issued while the WebSocket is down or being recovered and replays it once a session is back, including after the 5-minute reconnection budget is spent. A resume the server never answers now times out after 15 s and re-establishes the session on the same socket instead of hanging; a socket that dies mid-re-establish, or a session that keeps dropping straight after recovering, re-establishes on the next socket instead of reloading the page. Merged in #1756. VFB keeps retrying in the background after giving up. Once the reconnection budget is spent it retries once a minute while the tab is visible and online, and immediately when the network comes back or the tab is looked at again; the banner keeps its Retry button. A request that still cannot be delivered is reported on the logo float rather than silently never arriving. (#1756) Clicking a painted domain in the slice viewer now always shows it in Term Info. A DOM element with the class's id (the Layers list's class links) was being mistaken for a loaded term, so the click did nothing. (#1755) The frontend is now built with the production profile. The site had been shipping the unminified React development build (16.7 MB main bundle) with dev-only console errors on every load; the frontend build now runs webpack -p like the backend modules, via org.geppetto.frontend VFBv2.4.0.2, which fixes the master Maven profile. (#1757, #1758) Orientation gizmo fix. It called a three.js method the bundled r87 does not have, which threw on every frame. (#1759) Connection telemetry. Each reconnection outcome now also sends a GA event whose name carries the reason, close code and attempt count (ws-exhausted:…, ws-reload:…, ws-back:…), so the labels are no longer needed to see why.
