Le résumé fourni par la source

This dataset provides the supporting data and reproducibility materials associated with the manuscript Retrofit Depth under a Binding Roof-Derived PV Cap: A Capital-Intensity Screening Framework for Cooling-Dominated Commercial Buildings, submitted to Energy & Buildings. The repository supports the coupled EnergyPlus–HOMER Pro analysis of five cumulative retrofit stages for a cooling-dominated commercial building in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The materials include anonymized hourly electricity-demand profiles, calibration and historical-weather re-evaluation evidence, HOMER Pro outputs, lifecycle retrofit-cost calculations, sensitivity and counterfactual results, explicit-geometry verification, uncertainty-analysis materials, and supporting documentation required to trace the reported numerical results. The governing base-case economic analysis identifies S2 (Packages A+B) as the retrofit stage with the minimum total lifecycle NPC. The repository distinguishes the governing S3 hourly load profile used in the retained HOMER Pro analysis from a separate frame/divider technical-verification profile retained for quality assurance and transparency. The latter is not a replacement S3 profile and does not enter the governing stage or combination economics. The primary HOMER Pro cases use a zero-export-credit condition in which physical grid export is permitted but receives no economic compensation. The repository is intended to enable independent verification of the reported numerical workflow and results while respecting project confidentiality. Raw utility bills, identifying building drawings and geometry records, owner-identifying information, and the complete confidential DesignBuilder/EnergyPlus working model are therefore not included. The released materials document the corresponding assumptions, inputs, outputs, calculations, and evidence boundaries needed to interpret and reproduce the publicly reported analyses.
