Genome-guided transcriptome assembly of Cristatella mucedo polypides was generated from publicly available stage-specific SRA data (Kvach et al., 2025) and the Hi-C genome assembly of Hoencamp et al. (2021). Raw reads were quality- and adapter-trimmed, filtered for rRNA (SortMeRNA + SILVA), and mapped with STAR. Transcripts were assembled and merged with StringTie. Sequences were extracted with gffread. Open reading frames were predicted using TD2.
