Le résumé fourni par la source

This dataset contains the structured metadata extracted from the 2,330 peer-reviewed articles included in the mapping review What Is the School Meals Scientific Literature Really About? A Worldwide Mapping Review with a Public Policy Perspective. The review aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the global scientific literature on school meal programs, identify major research themes and knowledge gaps, explore geographical disparities, and examine the relationship between scientific production and public policy priorities. The dataset was produced through a systematic literature search conducted in 2025 in PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science, followed by title, abstract, and full-text screening according to predefined eligibility criteria. For each included publication, standardized information was extracted using a harmonized coding framework. Variables include bibliographic information, geographical scope, target populations, scientific themes and subthemes, and policy-related variables. The dataset can be reused for bibliometric analyses, evidence mapping, systematic reviews, meta-research, comparative analyses of school meal policies and research priorities, and studies investigating the evolution of scientific production across regions and over time. It also provides a resource for researchers and policymakers interested in identifying evidence gaps and supporting the development of more effective and sustainable school meal systems.
