The Workflow Management Plan is a structured questionnaire designed to guide researchers, developers, and teams through the comprehensive planning of a computational workflow. It serves as a practical framework that synthesizes insights from established software development methodologies, best practices, and community-driven resources. The plan expands on the Software Management Plan developed by the ELIXIR-STEERS project, to capture information and governance decisions to address the FAIR Computational Workflow requirements. The Workflow Management Plan can be completed using the ELIXIR Research Software Wizard instance of DSWizard, which gives detailed guidance and machine-readable outputs.
