Education and Youth Unemployment in Bangladesh: An Empirical Analysis

This study examines the relationship between education and youth unemployment in Bangladesh. It explores why increasing access to education does not necessarily lead to better employment outcomes for young people and considers factors such as skills mismatch, labour-market conditions, and the transition from education to employment. The study highlights key challenges faced by educated young people in Bangladesh and discusses the importance of aligning education with changing labour-market demands. The research aims to contribute to a better understanding of youth employment challenges and the role of education in improving employment opportunities in Bangladesh.
