This study investigates the seal strength behavior of an EVA-based hot melt adhesive used in soap wrap packaging, evaluating how sealing temperature (110°C vs. 120°C) and dwell time affect bond strength on uncoated paper substrates. Results identify 120°C with a 5–7 second dwell time as the optimal sealing window, balancing strong, consistent seals against production cycle time and the risk of over-sealing.
