This chapter presents Poolpo, an online platform designed to enable large-scale and long-term behavioral experiments. The chapter motivates the need for this infrastructure, details Poolpo’s architecture and governance, situates it among existing platforms, and outlines expected contributions: scaling diverse samples, accelerating multilab replications, improving generalizability, and building a coordinated community of practice that can provide cumulative, credible, and policy-useful social science in Italy.
