Langtang 2026 rock-ice avalanche and flood: revised simulation animations and supporting outputs

Six revised simulation animations accompanying H. Park, A rock-ice avalanche and the 2026 Bhote Koshi-Trishuli flood, Nepal. The manuscript is a non-peer-reviewed preprint submitted to Landslides. Preprint: https://doi.org/10.31223/X5250R Version 2.0.0 replaces all six version-1 animations with outputs from the corrected model, including source material added at rest and mass-conserving melting. The upper-corridor oblique, plan and longitudinal-profile videos show the 30 m reference calculation for the first 24 minutes, with states saved every 5 s. The full-corridor videos cover 8 hours with states saved every 60 s. The full-corridor oblique and plan videos show the corrected 60 m two-dimensional calculation. The full-corridor profile uses the selected one-dimensional compound-section routing, route_b2_w1, downstream. These are distinct model representations and should not be treated as identical downstream predictions. Flow-depth exaggeration is indicated in the videos. Values above the 10 m rise-panel limit in the full profile are marked. The simulations do not prescribe a separate temporary-dam outburst. This does not establish that no temporary blockage occurred. All videos are model output, not event footage. See README and provenance files for run identities, display settings, and differences from version 1. Supporting outputs are supplied with this version. The original data and animations remain available in version 1 as a historical archive.
