List of plant species and abundance of the survey. The vegetation survey was conducted using 27 one-squared-meter plots arranged in a 10 × 25 m grid (14 plots inside the enclosure and 13 outside). Each plot was subdivided into nine equal squares (3 rows × 3 columns), and we recorded the presence or absence of all herbaceous layer species (height < 50 cm) for each square. Species frequency per plot was scored from 0 (absent) to 9 (present in all nine squares).
