Self-Reflection
Résumé fourni par la source
Abstract Chapter 8 presents a self-reflection of the authors on the range of sources, theoretical framework, ethics, and methods employed to write a cultural biography of a pyramid. It offers a reference point for navigating a wealth of information that needs to be synthesized to create biographical studies of the lives and afterlives of landscapes, monuments, and objects, which have been embedded in cultural memory, subject to different regimes of historicity. Thus, the last chapter contextualizes the approach of this study within the epistemic community of Egyptology, the research ecology, as well as the methodology and the shared discourse between different disciplines within the humanities.
